Game Recap

The Mona Shores Varsity Softball team split a double header with Forest Hills on Tuesday. The sailors took game 1 8-6. Freshman Madison Van Etten picked up the win on the mound Striking out 3. The offense was lead by Juniors Grace Hall, 2 for 4, Veronica Kastelic 2 for 4, Ryleigh Wehler 3 for 4, and Taylor Dew 2 for 2 with a 3-run HR. Sophomore Shelby Savacool also had 2 hits. In game 2 the sailors fell 7-4.The sailors could not overcome early errors. Sophomore Lauryn Patterson pitched will giving up 6 hits and striking out 2. The offense was lead by Junior Veronica Kastelic – 2 for 4 and Junior Taylor Dew who was 2 for 3 with a 2-run HR. The sailors are now 3-7 on year. Heads up ladies.
