Mona Shores varsity volleyball played at the Fruitport Invitational on Saturday. The ladies had four matches with one loss and three ties. The ladies ended up taking fourth out of pool play.

Leading the team was Suriya van der Oord with 55 assists. Top attackers work Ryleigh Wehler with 23 kills, Grace Hellman with 21 kills and Jaizah Pyle with 19 kills. The defense was led by Sasha Poland with 81 digs, Emma Lynn with 35 digs and Sarah Mikesell with 21 digs. Leading blockers were Anya Herrela with 5 blocks, Nia Miskel with 5 blocks, Grace Hellman and Ryleigh Wehler added 4 blocks each. Top servers or Sasha Poland with 7 aces, Sarah Mikesell was 6 aces and Ellery Rose with 3 aces. Our next match is at Muskegon high school on Tuesday.
