Poor first quarter dooms Sailors in loss to Holland

Shores was outscored by Holland 21-5 in the first quarter and could never rebound, losing to the dutch 65-42. Leading the Sailors (6-13, 3-7) was senior Andre Parker with 13 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and two steals.  Sophomore Logan Smith had a season-high eight points and six rebounds.

Carlson, Rayner pace Sailors over Creston

Shores falls to Crusaders by 3

Seniors Torin Carlson and Andre Parker had 11 points each while senior Aaron Doriot had nine points, three steals and three assists, but it was not enough as the Sailors (5-11) lost 44-41 to Muskegon Catholic Central.  Senior Ricky Matthews played well inside with six points and five rebounds.

Sailors take down WMC by 10 points

Carlson sinks 90-foot shot in loss

Although Shores lost 72-52 to Lowell, the highlight of the game was a 90-foot basket made by senior Torin Carlson at the end of the first period. Junior Adam Rayner led the Sailors (4-10) with 14 pionts.

Sailors outscored 24-7 in 4th quarter in loss

Shores (3-9, 2-4) only trailed the RedHawks by one entering the fourth quarter, but Union outscored the Sailors 24-7 in the final period to gain the 65-47 OK Black victory. Senior Zach Haugh led the way with 14 points with seniors Aaron Doriot and Torin Carlson each tallying 11 points.
