Freshman Tyree Jackson connected with senior Aaron Doriot for both touchdowns (56 and 68 yards) in the Sailors’ 31-12 loss to Holland. Shores picks up first win with 26-22 victory over Reeths-Puffer

Freshman quarterback Tyree Jackson and senior end Aaron Doriot hooked up for three touchdown passes of 54, 57 and 63 yards in the Sailors’ 41-22 loss to Kenowa Hills. Jackson finished with 270 yards on 9-of-28 passes. Nick Hendricks paced the defense with nine tackles.

Jackson, Doriot connect twice for long TD’s in loss

Freshman Tyree Jackson and senior Aaron Doriot connected twice on long touchdown passes (63 and 85 yards) inthe Sailors’ 48-13 loss to Forest Hills Central. Jackson finished with 177 passing yards while Doriot caught six passes for 172 yards as Shores fell to 0-6.

Sailors lose Homecoming game

Hendricks, Karnitz score TD’s in loss to EGR

Shores lost its fourth straight game after falling behind East Grand Rapids 41-0 at halftime. The final score was 61-15. Senior Nick Hendricks, who led the defense with seven tackles, scored on a 3-yard run while Jared Karnitz had a 21-yard TD run. Karnitz was the leading rusher with 56 yards on six carries.

Football drops third straight game

Shores fell behind 35-0 at halftime to Northview and dropped its third straight game 35-7. Ossie Gordon scored the lone touchdown on a 5-yard run. Darnell Longmire had 16 carries for 117 yards. Defensively, Nick Hendricks, Aaron Doriot and Jake Workman each had eight tackles.
