Sailors blank Kenowa Hills

Junior Marci Northuis had one goal and two assists as Shores (8-5-2, 6-2) defeated Kenowa Hills 4-0. Senior Ashlee Taylor, junior Meredith Smith and senior Lauren Starke each scored once. Junior Jessica Dubuc earned the shutout.

Morgan Smith scores lone goal in loss to FHC

Junior Morgan Smith scored the lone goal on an assist by senior Jenna DeVourseny, but Shores (7-5-2, 5-2) fell to Forest Hills Central 4-1.

The Sailors (7-3-1, 5-1) had six different goal scorers in its 9-0 win over Union, including three players who scored twice: junior Madison Gentry, freshman Amelia VanderVelde and junior Marci Northuis.

Junior Morgan Smith led Shores with three goals en route to the 5-0 win over Kenowa Hills. Junior Marci Northuis and senior Kailey Baker each scored a goal for the Sailors (4-3-1, 2-1) with junior Madison Gentry and junior Julia Smith each adding an assist.
