The Mona Shores boys tennis team competed well again in its second tournament of the year, finishing the Grand Haven Quad with 12 total match wins. Winning flight medals for the Sailors were Zach Davis and Connor Belanger at #1 doubles. The senior duo won all three of their matches on the day. Davis and Belanger are continuing their run together from last year, when they finished a stellar season as a #2 doubles team. This season they are taking on the challenge of #1 doubles and are off to a good start.
Winning two matches on the day were #1 singles Andrew Swirczek, #2 singles Nick Davis, and the #2 doubles duo of Thad Krause and Dustin Hammerle. Also winning matches to help the team total were #3 singles Austin Grimm, #3 doubles Brady Whalen and Tyler Warren, and #4 doubles Matt Durose and Grant Hylland.
